Former Climate Change and Human Security (CCHS) student, Ketcha Armand Kablan Malan is recruited at the University        Félix Houphouët-Boigny of Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, as Assistant Lecturer.


Dear Professeur, Greetings from Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. I would like to officially inform you that I have been recruited at the Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny, Abidjan Côte d’Ivoire, as Assistant Lecturer.


I am very grateful to you for your assistance and your support toward my person during this hard experiment. Through you, I would like to thank your team (WASCAL-Togo) for the hard work. I have heard that the Ph.D. Climate Change and Human Security is no more a dream, but it will start soon. I am very proud of you Professor, you succeeded. Congratulation, you are a man of vision.


I am proud to say, to whom wants to hear, that the skills that I am developing now in my daily scientific life, I got it from WASCAL-Lomé. Professor, I am a product of WASCAL-Lomé. I would, therefore, like to inform you that I will be always available if you need any support or help for the future students of WASCAL-Lomé (Climate Change and Human Security). Very soon you will receive my article.

In fact, Kablan was a student of the University of Lomé under the West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use programme and especially in “ Climate Change and Human Security “. He was trained in the first set of CCHS students from 2012 to 2014 where he fulfilled a Master degree requirements.


In the framework of his MSc. studies, Mr. Kablan conducted research on ” The Dynamics of Urban Land Cover and Residents’ Vulnerability to Climate Change : A Case study of Cocody District, Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire ” under the supervision of eminent Professors : Kouassi Dongo, Abel Adebayo, Aklesso Egbendewe-Mondzozo, Edjamé Kodjovi, and Kouami Kokou from Universities of Houphouët Boigny, Yola (Nigeria), and Lomé respectively.


After the MSc. at WASCAL Climate Change and Human Security, he furthers studies at Houphouët Boigny University as a PhD fellow.


The WASCAL family is proud and wish to congratulate Mr. Ketcha Armand Kablan Malan on his career development. The starting point being an assistant Lecturer at the University of Houphouët Boigny  : Unité des Sciences de la Terre et des Ressources Minières (STRM), more power to your elbow !
